The UF Health The Villages® Hospital Freestanding E.R. is a modern, 25,000-square-foot facility which features a full complement of staff, including physicians, nurses and patient care technicians. It is equipped with 16 beds, two of which are situated inside state-of-the-art trauma bays. The facility is outfitted with the latest diagnostic imaging technology, including CT and X-ray, and offers laboratory and respiratory therapy services, as well as a negative air pressure room for patients who need to be isolated.
It is the first facility of its kind in the Wildwood area and is located directly across from Brownwood Paddock Square in The Villages®.
